Meggitt Aircraft Braking Systems will invest nearly $7.3 million in its second facility to be built in Danville, Kentucky, and create 63 jobs, reports a recent story by Manufacturing & Technology eJournal.

The new 156,000 sq.-ft. operation--a result of consolidation from an out-of-state facility--will perform final assembly and worldwide distribution of aircraft wheels, brakes and components. The project will create 63 new jobs and nearly $7.3 million in investment.

According to the eJournal story, the Kentucky Economic Development Finance Authority preliminarily approved tax incentives for the company of up to $2 million through the Kentucky Business Investment program.
