O'Donnell Industries, a manufacturer of pet beds, travel products and accessories, is expanding its presence in Piedmont, South Carolina, as it grows to serve the European market. The firm’s $1.8 million investment is expected to create approximately 39 new jobs in Greenville County.

O'Donnell is relocating its manufacturing space to a completely renovated facility at 561 Bessie Road in Piedmont, South Carolina, effectively doubling its manufacturing space to more than 43,000 square feet. The custom remodeling will integrate the use of lean manufacturing principles to support accelerated volume production and enhanced operational efficiency, enabling the company to grow domestic sales while expanding into the European market for the first time. Construction is underway with a July 2014 move-in date anticipated.
