Global insurance company Liberty Mutual will invest more than $3 million and create 100 jobs as part of its expansion in St. Louis, Missouri. The Boston, Massachusetts-based company has already leased a 55,000-square-foot space in the city.
"The state of Missouri and St. Louis County have been great partners in moving our expansion project forward," said Karen Whiteknact, Liberty Mutual's manager of corporate real estate. "Its support was a critical element in our decision to expand our current operations and create more jobs in the county."
Liberty Mutual currently employs 340 people in St. Louis. The new positions will be in claims and administrative divisions.
