Intrasphere Technologies, Inc. will relocate its headquarters from New York City to Jersey City, New Jersey when its lease expires at the end of June. The life sciences consulting firm will move 120 jobs and create 180 additional positions over the next two years.

"New Jersey has made it clear to us that they are interested in our business and in helping Intrasphere grow," said Samuel Goldman, company co-founder and COO. "As a life science-focused company, it's encouraging to be in the same state that many of our clients call home."

The state has extended a $12.4 million Business Employment Incentive Program (BEIP) grant to Intrasphere, a decisive factor in its consideration of New Jersey. The company will invest $965,000 in the relocation.

Intrasphere provides business services and software solutions to the life sciences sector. Its clients include Bayer, Novartis, Bristol-Myers Squibb, Johnson & Johnson, Merck, and Pfizer. It also has a location in London.
