Area Development
Phoenix Mecano, a leading technology company active in the production of enclosures and industrial components, expanded its North American operations to include the distribution of hazardous area enclosures under its Rose brand in support of the North American energy industry. In August, the company will open sales and distribution operations in Houston, Texas.

In addition to sales and engineering support, the company’s Houston location will hold inventory in its 5,500 square foot facility.

Phoenix Mecano will leverage each of its global production locations in Germany, India, China and Singapore, in addition to its sales and value added locations in 21 other countries, to support clients and projects at local, regional, national and international levels. Rose Enclosures for hazardous areas are ATEX, IECEx and UL certified and are made from aluminum, stainless steel or polyester and cover a wide range of sizes. Stainless steel enclosures can also be produced in custom sizes.

“Our strategic expansion to support oil and gas, one of North America’s fastest growing industries, is an exciting move,” said Bruce Bator, Director of Engineering, Phoenix Mecano. “Our experience producing hazardous area enclosures within similar market segments in 21 countries will allow our team to employ a deep understanding and knowledge base to our customer’s unique needs. This will enable us to provide quality, problem solving solutions for our customers in the North American energy industry.”
