Area Development
Provade, Inc, a software technology management company, will move its headquarters from Silicon Valley, California to Milwaukee, Wisconsin.

The company said the move will almost double the size of its Midwest office, which now has about 20 employees. Provade plans to add positions in each of its departments at 788 North Jefferson Street in Milwaukee. While information about whether any incentive package was provided by state or local officials was not immediately available, Provade said it plans to relocate most of its management team in engineering, product development and other areas. The firm chose to expand in Milwaukee because real estate costs are less expensive and it found Wisconsin provides a talented and loyal workforce pool.

"A larger office was necessary for our continued growth, our ability to provide Provade customers with superior service and maintaining our position as a VMS industry leader," said Edward Jackson, President of Provade. "Although we considered moving outside Milwaukee as we began to outgrow our former space, we decided the area's strong job pool and central U.S. location provided Provade with the best environment to continue conducting business."

Provade said it will continue its California presence with expansion of its Pleasanton, California office for ongoing development.
