The State of Texas is investing $1.125 million in Frito-Lay North America (FLNA) through the Texas Enterprise Fund (TEF) so the company can implement SAP business management software and IT upgrades. The funds will create 125 jobs in Plano, Texas.

"The Texas Enterprise Fund helps strengthen and expand Texas' economy by attracting jobs and investment to our state," Governor Rick Perry. "This investment in Frito-Lay will strengthen the economy in North Texas by creating 125 jobs and bringing millions of dollars worth of business infrastructure to the area."

The investment will allow PepsiCo, FLNA's parent company, to consolidate its SAP business management software conversion team in Plano and support future PepsiCo projects.
