“These products help serve a host of manufacturers based in the south and Mexico including: automotive; office furniture; metal building; light duty shelving; appliance as well as the construction industry,” officials said.

"The Lex Group is pleased to announce our newest expansion into the Houston area, one of the fastest growing areas in the U.S. with global access via the ports in the Gulf of Mexico," said Paul Douglass, COO at the Lex Group. "We look forward to helping the local economy as well as providing our customers both old and new increased capacity without sacrificing the quality and service for which the Lex Group is known."

“The company was pleased to add this newest facility as a logical extension of the Lex Group of companies and expand its presence into the southwest market including Mexico. This strategy allows the company to leverage its existing supply and customer base to build additional business into a growing region of the domestic steel market,” company officials said.
