Clarcor Air Filtration Products, a manufacturer of air filters for HVAC systems in commercial and industrial facilities, will consolidate its Midwest manufacturing operations and relocate its corporate headquarters to Jeffersonville, Indiana from its current Kentucky location. Approximately 425 new jobs are planned with the $8.5 project. The company will lease a 450,000-square-foot facility that is currently under construction in the River Ridge Commerce Center. "Geographically and demographically, Southern Indiana offered an ideal location for growing our business, while providing our customers and employees a state-of-the-art manufacturing complex and headquarters," says Kevin Bush the company's senior vice president of operations. Clarcor has been offered up to $3.587 million in performance-based tax credits and up to $200,000 in training grants based on job creation. The city will also provide property tax abatement.
