SEM Products, a manufacturer of specialty aerosols and adhesive products, will relocate its corporate headquarters and manufacturing facility to Rock Hill, South Carolina, with an $11 million investment, according to the South Carolina governor's office. The move is expected to create at least 85 new jobs. "York County offers us an environment that will help our company grow and meet the demands of our customers," says Steve Fussy, the company's president. "south Carolina's business-friendly climate and strong work force offer us a great opportunity to increase our competitive edge." SEM, currently located in North Carolina, makes its products for the automotive and aerospace industries. The company expects to have the new operations fully operational by the end of the year. Details about financial incentives were not released.
