2AM Group, supplier of logistics, manufacturing and quality services to the automotive, aerospace and marine industries, will establish its latest production facility at 110 Belk Court in Blythewood, South Carolina. The $500,000 investment is expected to generate 100 new jobs over the next three years in Richland County.

“We are overjoyed to have the opportunity to further expand our company in the state that’s been home to our headquarters since 2006,” said Artie Perry, President and CEO of 2AM Group. “South Carolina and its supportive governing officials have made all of our establishments and growth in the state very productive, and it’s extremely beneficial for us to continue to invest in the state. We look forward to adding these new jobs to our existing growth, and having the opportunity to bring citizens from the Columbia and Blythewood areas into the 2AM family.”

“While we work hard to attract new companies to South Carolina, it’s always exciting to see one of our existing companies choose to expand its footprint here. 2AM Group has several locations here, and the addition of the new Midlands facility proves the company’s commitment to our state. We celebrate 2AM Group’s decision to invest and create 100 new jobs in Blythewood,” said Gov. Nikki Haley.

Headquartered in Spartanburg, 2AM’s Blythewood facility will be the company’s 11th overall location and the fifth in the state. “2AM Group has found South Carolina to be just right for its operations, and these new jobs will have a positive impact in the Midlands and beyond,” said Secretary of Commerce Bobby Hitt.

“Richland County welcomes 2AM Group to our community and looks forward to working with the company as it begins its operations. As a premium technical service provider to the automotive industry, 2AM Group will enhance the County’s position as a great location for this manufacturing sector,” said Kelvin Washington, Chairman of Richland County Council.
