Key Plastics is closing its Hartford City, Indiana, facility as part of a consolidation effort that will move manufacturing to other North American locations this year, Crain's Detroit Business reports.

Although the company saw revenue increase by a third last year, it will shutter the facility to improve manufacturing efficiency. Key Plastics did not say where it will relocate Hartford City's operations.

The facility supplied injection molding, painting, and assembly of vehicle door handles, interior trim, and airbags. It had 215 employees.
