C.M. Steel Inc., an affiliate of SteelFab, will locate its corporate
headquarters in York County, S.C. The $7 million investment is
expected to bring 85 new jobs to the area. "We are pleased to expand our presence in South Carolina and
move our headquarters to York County. The Palmetto State is just the
right fit for our company and provides us with a positive business
environment and a strong work force. We appreciate all the support
we've received from state and local officials and look forward to
continued success in South Carolina," says Chris Thompson, the company's president. C.M. Steel Inc. is a steel manufacturer for
commercial and industrial buildings. The company is expanding its
manufacturing operations and plans to relocate their corporate
headquarters to York County. Over the next five years, C.M. Steel's
project investment is estimated to total over $7 million.
