With an investment of approximately $8 million, FedEx Ground will build
a new facility in North Jackson, Ohio, in the Youngstown-Warren area,
to replace a nearby facility. The 79,000-square-foot delivery center
will take approximately three years to complete, according to local
economic development officials, and is expected to employ more than 120
people upon completion. The company will reportedly receive a nine-year
tax abatement as part of a regional incentives package.
