James Hardie, a world leader in fiber cement home siding and exterior design, will establish a manufacturing facility in Crystal City, Missouri. The project is expected to create 240 jobs.

The new one-million-square-foot site, located 30 miles south of St. Louis, will deliver in-demand fiber cement products.

The company will benefit from the Missouri Works program, a tool that helps companies expand and retain workers by providing access to capital through withholdings or tax credits for job creation. The company is also receiving assistance from Missouri One Start, which assists eligible businesses with their recruitment and training needs.
