Germany-based manufacturer of display hardware and custom large-format printing, Tex Visions, opened its new 60,000-square-foot manufacturing facility in Middlesex Township, Pennsylvania. Its larger facility will accommodate the company’s machinery and storage needs.

“The partnership between the commonwealth and our local partners helped Tex Visions evolve into new markets and expand operations in south central Pennsylvania,” Community and Economic Development Secretary C. Alan Walker.

According to state economic development officials, working with the state’s Office of International Business Development, Tex Visions initially set up operations in the Harrisburg Regional Chamber and CREDC’s Murata Business Center with only two employees, one office suite, and no resellers. Today, the company has grown into a fully integrated printing and manufacturing company, with more than 50 employees, working with 4,000 resellers.

The company gradually grew its production capacity and continued to lease additional space at the Murata Business Center. By 2011, the company had outgrown the business center and began looking for a stand-alone facility.

“Tex Visions’ story of growth underscores the importance of positioning Pennsylvania to compete both nationally and globally,” Walker said. “With our location, skilled workforce, local leadership and natural resources, Pennsylvania is the gateway to U.S. markets for international companies looking to grow in North America.”
