Sleep Solutions and Services will locate new call center operations in Columbia, Tennessee. The medical software and support company specializing in respiratory services will invest $3.6 million and create 137 new jobs in Maury County.

“S3 is grateful for the opportunity to open our facility in Tennessee. Our facility will allow us to grow and expand our operations to provide service to customers in all 50 states,” S3 Owner/President David Baxter said. Baxter is also the owner of Medical Necessities which has 10 locations throughout Tennessee. Medical Necessities provides medical equipment and supplies to patients.

“We want to welcome S3 to Tennessee and thank the company for its investment in Columbia and Maury County,” Governor Bill Haslam said. “It means a great deal when a company chooses to start new operations in our state, providing new opportunities for Tennessee’s workforce, and today’s announcement supports our goal of becoming the No. 1 state in the Southeast for high quality jobs.”

“Tennessee has a greater employment concentration for the health care and medical devices sector compared to both the Southeast and nation making our state a great fit for a company like S3,” Community Development Commissioner Randy Boyd said. “We appreciate S3 for selecting Columbia for its newest operations and contributing to Tennessee’s thriving health care landscape.”
