Quaker Windows is expanding its operations in Freeburg, Missouri, with a $540,000 investment and the creation of 45 jobs.

Governor Jay Nixon's Customized Training Program has extended the company $20,000 in funds to assist in hiring and training the new workers. The company is adding a new production line for windows that comply with federal energy-efficiency standards.

Quaker has had operations in Freeburg since 1949. It currently employs 415 people in central Missouri making vinyl, wood, and aluminum doors and windows.
