Paris-based Capgemini expects to create 125 information technology jobs over the next five years at its Lee's Summit, MO, facility according to an announcement made by Gov. Jay Nixon. Currently the operations employs 150 workers.

The professional services firm plans on establishing a new division--the Public Sector Center of Excellence--to offer IT services to local, state and federal government agencies in the U.S.

Capgemini is on track to receive $1.2 million in Missouri Quality Jobs Program tax credits and $125,000 in recruitment assistance from the state.
