Vest-Fiber, a supplier of fiberglass products for the wind turbine industry, has selected Moberly, Missouri, for the site of a new production plant. The company, which has headquarters in Denmark, will create 50 jobs and invest $2 million.
"In our search for the ideal location, we found Missouri to be the strategic center of all wind-related production facilities in the USA", said Hans Leerskov Hansen, business development manager of Vest-Fiber. "We were also pleased to find the right skills and work ethic available."
Missouri is offering Vest-Fiber more than $128,000 in Missouri Quality Jobs program incentives. The company expects to open the Moberly plant by February 2011.
