German multinational liner shipping company Hapag-Lloyd will locate its new North American headquarters in Dunwoody, Georgia. The $18 million project is expected to create 250 jobs in the metro Atlanta region.

The company will open its new 125,000-square-foot headquarters at Three Ravinia by summer 2022. Once complete, Hapag-Lloyd will employ more than 750 people in Georgia, state officials noted.

Based in Hamburg, Germany, and with a fleet of over 250 modern container ships and a total transport capacity of 1.8 million TEUs, Hapag-Lloyd is one of the world’s leading liner shipping companies. The company currently employs more than 500 Georgians across the state.
