General Products Partners Inc., the aerospace and defense components manufacturer, will invest $6.5 million to establish a manufacturing facility in Fayetteville, Tennessee, creating 100 jobs in Lincoln County.

General Products Partners Inc. supplies precision machining, fabrication and assembly of tooling and components, including space flight hardware, to a diversified range of aerospace, defense and aircraft industry firms. It will be the first facility located at Runway Centre Industrial Park.

“GPP is pleased to become partners with the State of Tennessee and the residents of Lincoln County,” Mike Tucker, general manager, General Products Partners Inc., said. “This is an excellent opportunity and a win-win situation for all concerned. The state and local leaders have been most helpful; this is the type of environment that creates success.”

Bill Haslam said. “The area will certainly benefit from these new positions, and I know this is the beginning of a strong partnership between General Products Partners Inc. and the state of Tennessee.” Information on tax incentives for which the firm might be eligible was not immediately available.
