Tenneco, a global vehicle supplier, will soon expand its production lines, add new equipment and hire 350 new workers at is Hartwell, Georgia, manufacturing facility according to Gov. Nathan Deal.

Tenneco is one of the world's leading designers, manufacturers and distributors of emission and ride control products and systems for the automotive original equipment market and aftermarket.

The company employs more than 750 workers at its Hartwell facility, and has been part of the community for over 50 years. Currently the plant makes automotive shock absorbers and struts.

The Georgia Department of Economic Development partnered with Hart County, the Industrial Building Authority and City of Hartwell to support the firm's expansion project.
