Whimet Inc., a provider of metal finishing services to the medical products industry, will invest $1.2 million to add additional production lines to its 93,000-square-foot facility in Warsaw, Indiana, according to the Indiana governor's office. The company will create 15 new jobs and provide training opportunities for its 70 current employees. "Increased customer expectations have enabled us to grow our business," says Lori Whitehead, Whimet's president. "Producing parts with higher quality, improving efficiencies, and working at a faster pace will allow Whimet to increase our workload and grow our business." The company received a $54,400 training assistance grant from the state.
