Rochling Automotive, a German plastics manufacturer, has selected Akron, Ohio, for a $15 million investment that will result in the construction of a 75,000-square-foot plant. The company will create 123 new local jobs.

"We are pleased Rochling Automotive USA has chosen Akron and Northeast Ohio for new manufacturing," said Mayor Don Plusquellic. "We have been successful in attracting 30 companies to Akron from Europe, Asia, and Israel, bringing over 2,000 jobs to the city and the region."

The company performs injection molding of automotive parts. It will receive eight years of tax increment financing (TIF) and payroll rebates towards the project.
