Owens Corning, a global building and construction materials leader, will establish a new manufacturing facility in Russellville, Arkansas. The $24.5 million project is expected to create 50 jobs over two years.

The 550,000-square-foot plant, located on 56 acres adjacent to the company’s current property in Fort Smith, will produce Foamular NGX extruded polystyrene insulation for applications spanning commercial and residential buildings. Operations are scheduled for 2025.

Toledo, Ohio-based Owens Corning is a global building and industrial materials leader. The company’s three integrated businesses are dedicated to the manufacture and advancement of a broad range of insulation, roofing and fiberglass composite materials.
