Premier Manufacturing Corp., a Cleveland-based supplier of fabricated wire used for HVAC, is closing its headquarters in the city, eliminating 100 jobs, Crain's Cleveland Business reports. The facility is approximately 200,000 square feet.

The company will begin laying off employees at the end of March, and lay offs will continue for up to nine months. Local 48U of the United Steelworkers Union represents 84 of the employees, but the workers will not have transfer rights outside Cleveland, according to plant general manager Tony Burdock.

Premier also fabricates wires in Henderson, Tennessee.
