Captive-Aire Systems Inc., a manufacturer of commercial kitchen ventilation equipment, will invest $4.6 million to locate a manufacturing facility in Bedford, Pennsylvania, according to the Pennsylvania governor's office. The project is expected to create 75 new jobs. The North Carolina-headquartered company will renovate an existing building that has been vacant since 1999; it will be the company's fifth manufacturing site and its first in Pennsylvania. Incentives offered to Captive-Aire Systems include a $1.86 million loan from the state.
