Milgard Windows & Doors, a leading brand of residential and commercial windows, patio doors and Moving Glass Wall Systems, will expand operations with the opening of new manufacturing facilities in Grand Prairie, Texas.

This will be the first Milgard manufacturing plant in Texas. The new facilities are expected to create over 150 jobs in the next 4 years. According to company officials, the proximity of the new facilities will allow Milgard to be closer to customers in Texas and parts of Oklahoma, enabling faster deliveries and even better customer service. Besides the manufacturing facilities in Grand Prairie, Milgard will have service and sales presence in each of Dallas-Fort Worth, San Antonio, Austin and Houston.

It’s an optimal time for Milgard to invest in putting more resources to better serve these customers,” said Randy Buchanan, General Manager of Milgard’s Texas facilities.
