A leader in high quality rotary encoders, linear encoders, slip rings, as well as measuring devices and counters and process displays, Kuebler Inc. will now manufacture rotary incremental encoders for shaft and hollow bore industrial and automation applications at its plant in Charlotte, North Carolina.

Kuebler is part of the global Kübler Group based in Villingen-Schwenningen, Germany with over 450 employees worldwide and sales in 50 countries, including 11 international subsidiaries. Kübler has 4 global production sites in Germany, India and in Charlotte.

Commonly used to measure the speed of mechanical systems, incremental encoders deliver a certain number of pulses per shaft revolution. The speed of a movement is determined by measuring the period or counting the pulses per time unit.

According to Kuebler officials, its Sendix encoder, which has been made in Germany, “is the result of the highest quality awareness and careful selection of materials. It has proved its value in many industries as a robust and precise sensor technology. We are also happy to implement special solutions and modifications.”
