Emerald Transformer, an industry leading company that provides a full suite of services on transformer equipment, opened a new 100,000-plus square foot factory and warehouse, 62 miles north of Jackson, in Lexington, Mississippi.

The 115,000 square foot, 30-acre, property includes warehouse space and offices in addition to a state-of-the-art manufacturing floor that will support all product lines of Emerald Transformer.

According to company officials, the Lexington facility consolidates existing operations in Madison and Greenwood, Mississippi and provides additional capacity and space for continued growth. This location and facility footprint will enable Emerald Transformer to streamline production and implement the latest technology in transformer repairs, increasing value to the customer.

Stuart Prior, CEO of Emerald Transformer, said new facility will not only improve the service level Emerald provides to its customers but will also allow the company to increase its presence in the region while supporting other Emerald locations throughout the United States. "We are very excited about the growth Emerald is experiencing and look forward to even further expansion based around this new facility."

In addition to the Lexington factory, Emerald Transformer has four facilities located throughout the United States serving both domestic and international customers.

Headquartered in DeFuniak Springs, Florida, Emerald Transformer has 40-plus years of expertise and provides services for electrical equipment from cradle-to-grave, including: Transformer Repair, Large Transformer Decommissioning, Field Technical Services, Refurbished Equipment Sales, Oil Processing, and PCB Disposal among other specialty services.
