Quiet Logistics, Inc., a leading provider of outsourced fulfillment solutions, opened its Fulfillment Center of the Future, just outside St. Louis, in Hazelwood, Missouri.

The innovative new center, built on Quiet's proprietary Fulfillment Management System, is strategically located to enable two- and three-day shipping to e-commerce customers across the United States. At capacity it will be powered by a staff of approximately 250 full-time employees working alongside a state-of-the-art Locus Robotics autonomous picking solution for maximum efficiency and accuracy.

According to state officials, the Midwest hub offers e-commerce retailers a quick two-day delivery transit time to New York City, and three-day transit to Los Angeles via ground shipping.
