Area Development
A Russian-based technology startup that uses big data to bring a personalized digital experience to the physical retail store, Syngera, will open its first U.S. headquarters office in New York City. Synqera's U.S. expansion includes plans to hire up to 15 employees in the areas of accounting and business development. Synqera said it plans to open its second U.S. office on the West Coast by the end of 2014.

Synqera develops technologies that bring the personalized online shopping experience to physical retail stores. "We see a huge opportunity to help physical retail stores eliminate the showrooming challenge by using big data-driven customization programs to create the type of personalized, loyalty driven experience consumers see online in the physical retail store," said Filipp Shubin, Synqera Chief Operating Officer. "New York, as a global hub of retail technology and marketing, offers the resources and diversity we need to really break through."

Synqera, an innovative technology company, was founded in 2010 by Russian technology entrepreneur, Kirill Gorynya. With his team of developers led by start-up specialist Filipp Shubin, the company's first product, Simplate, was created. It was launched in 2012 in Europe and in 2013 in the United States. Simplate provides a new concept of real-time business-to-customer media communications.
