A number of manufacturing projects will result in millions of dollars in new investment and create several hundred new jobs in Indiana, according to the Indiana governor's office. In Rushville, Indiana, McCreary Concrete Products Inc., a manufacturer of concrete materials for residential and commercial applications, will invest $2.3 million to construct a 20,000-square-foot plant and office facility near its existing headquarters; the project will create 14 new jobs. Oasis Lifestyle LLC, a manufacturer of bathroom fixtures, will invest $2.1 million to relocate its manufacturing operations to Plymouth, Indiana, from Illinois; the company will create more than 95 jobs over the next two years. Wire and cable manufacturer Lake Cable of Elkhart LLC will invest $6 million to open a new facility in Elkhart, Indiana, and will create 20 new jobs over the next year. Precision Tank & Equipment Company will invest $1.8 million to open a fiberglass tank factory in Wakarusa, Indiana, creating 14 new jobs. In Bremen, Indiana, iron machine castings manufacturer Bremen Castings will invest $5.6 million and create 66 new jobs in an expansion of its existing facility. Commercial furniture manufacturer izzy, formerly known as Jami Inc., will invest $640,000 for equipment and building improvements; 115 new jobs are expected with the project. The state has offered performance-based tax credits and training grants of varying amounts to each company contingent on job creation plans.
