Prototype House, a leader in comprehensive product development services, opened its new headquarters in downtown Fort Lauderdale, Florida.

According to company officials, located just east of US1, the 1200 sq. ft. South Florida office space is creatively designed appealing to entrepreneurs and inventors who are in need of industrial design, patent drafting, prototyping, 3D printing, packaging, mechanical engineering and contract manufacturing services.

"When most people think of product development companies they automatically think three things, 'west coast,' 'expensive' and 'prolonged process', we want to change that," said Matthew Bordy, Co-Founder of Prototype House, Inc. "Prototype House is a startup friendly product development company where inventors receive guidance, contract manufacturing, sales representatives and rapid prototyping - all under one roof."

Company officials explained, “prototype House reflects the vision and soul of Co-founders Matthew Bordy and Francisco Molina, inventors with a decade of retail manufacturing experience and more than 30 combined patents of their own. Sharing a passion for innovation and a desire to help entrepreneurs, they launched Prototype House in 2013 to deliver full service product development smarter, faster and more affordable. Offering both all encompassing service packages and a la carte services, Prototype House handles all stages of product development from inception to prototyping, all the way through to production, ensuring the inventor's design is ready for manufacturing and retail sales.”

"It's common for a product development company to farm out parts of the process to other companies - and that can make production costs very expensive, especially for a startup inventor," said Francisco Molina, Co-Founder of Prototype House, Inc. "Prototype House is a place where inventors and entrepreneurs work with an in-house team from start to finish."
