RPA Development LLC, a designer and manufacturer of fencing and railing products as well as the machines to produce them, has purchased and will upfit a 90,000-square-foot facility in Mauldin, South Carolina, to meet growing international and domestic demand for its products. The undisclosed investment is expected to add at least 43 new jobs.
Upfitting of the new facility, located at 25 Old Mill Road, is targeted for completion in August of this year. RPA Development has already begun hiring associates to assist in the relocation of operations from the company's existing site in Greenville County, with additional hiring planned over the next 24 to 36 months. Positions to be filled include welders, CNC operators, production workers, powder coaters, installers, quality control, sales and administrative support positions.

As an incentive, The Coordinating Council for Economic Development approved a $100,000 set aside grant for the project.
