AHF Products, a manufacturer of solid and engineered hardwood flooring products, will expand its presence in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania. The company plans to create nearly 70 jobs.

AHF is currently headquartered in Lancaster County and shares space with another company at its current facility. To accommodate the company’s growth, AHF will move its headquarters into its own location in West Hempfield Township. AHF plans to invest at least $985,000 into the project, which is expected to create 68 jobs and retain 69 existing Pennsylvania jobs over the next three years.

“We are delighted to continue our operations here in the great state of Pennsylvania, with assistance from the Governor’s office,” said Brian Carson, President & CEO of AHF Products. “As AHF continues to demonstrate our position as the leader in hardwood flooring, we look forward to many years of prosperity and growth in our new best-in-class facility, expanding and deepening our commitment to both the local and national community.”

AHF received a funding proposal from the Pennsylvania Department of Community and Economic Development (DCED) for a $150,000 Pennsylvania First grant. The project was coordinated by the Governor’s Action Team, an experienced group of economic development professionals who report directly to the governor and work with businesses that are considering locating or expanding in Pennsylvania. Additional coordination was provided by the Economic Development Company of Lancaster.

“We are thrilled that AHF is staying and expanding its operations here in Lancaster,” said Lisa Riggs, President of Economic Development Company of Lancaster. “AHF is building on a strong legacy of innovative flooring manufacturing. We are pleased that Lancaster will continue to provide the central location, high quality of life and access to talent that the company was seeking.”

“This expansion by AHF demonstrates what so many manufacturers in Lancaster County and across Pennsylvania are finding, that this commonwealth is the best place for a manufacturing company to grow,” said Governor Tom Wolf. “I applaud AHF for its commitment to build its future and create jobs here in Pennsylvania.”
