Wisconsin will offer $1.5 million in loans to Marquis Yachts, a builder of luxury yachts. The money will help Marquis complete a $5.75 million company acquisition and create 315 full-time jobs at its Pulaski, Wisconsin site. The funds come from the state's Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) program.

"My number one priority this year is helping our businesses create jobs and giving our workers the opportunities to get those jobs," said Wisconsin Governor Jim Doyle. "I am pleased that we could provide this assistance to Marquis Yachts to help them grow and provide good family-supporting jobs in northeastern Wisconsin."

Marquis will build its yachts in a 600,000-square-foot facility.
