QuEST Global, an engineering services provider, opened its new engineering center in Houston, Texas. The center will provide engineering services and solutions for the upstream oil industry, equipment manufacturers and other oil and gas companies.
The company has over 100 employees in the Houston area and plans to hire many more to support increasing demands for engineering services in the oil and gas sector.
Officials from QuEST Global said earlier this year the firm acquired Beeken TechQuest and its Bangalore based arm, UFT Beeken Engineering Services, “to create a highly capable team to support the oil and gas upstream technology area. The Houston location will be the hub of QuEST's global oil and gas business as it expands its footprint worldwide.”
