Unibat, the Italy-based leading powersports battery manufacturer in Europe, opened its United States corporate headquarters in Woodland Hills, California. The company will also open a distribution hub in Humble, Texas.
The manufacturer is one of the primary sponsors of the Factory Ducati team in MotoGP, which features riders Andrea Iannone and Andrea Dovizioso. The U.S. product lineup will be focused on the company's highly successful line of AGM powersports batteries and include a unique, waterproof battery charger, company officials said.
Unibat President Alessandro Annoscia said, "We are very excited to be making our initial launch in the United States.
We believe we have the most technologically advanced AGM batteries available, and look forward to demonstrating our expertise in the U.S. market. We are very excited to be led in this effort by Kevin Riley, who has shown great skill in leading technology brands in the U.S. Powersports industry."
