Workers at the Lyon County plant, north east of Carson City, will manufacture and distribute high-performance industrial coatings. The firm plans to hire manufacturing processors, quality control technicians, shipping and receiving workers, buyers, schedulers and maintenance specialists.

"We are excited about our new manufacturing facility in the western United States to service Carboline's growing business. We have enjoyed significant success both domestically and internationally over the past several years and we continue to invest internally to support our growth. This third domestic coatings manufacturing facility supports our long-term strategy of maintaining our leadership position in the industrial and marine coatings markets in North America and internationally," stated Richard M. Wilson, president of Carboline Company.

While information on any incentive offered the firm was not immediately available, Rob Hooper, Northern Nevada Development Authority executive director said "this has been a very long process that began over a year ago. The county deserves tremendous credit for their business friendly attitude and great service profile, not only to this client but every other one we have worked with. "
