CertainTeed Gypsum, a maker of construction materials, is planning a wallboard manufacturing plant in Roxboro, North Carolina. The expansion will create 89 jobs, and is partly funded by a $300,000 grant from the One North Carolina Fund.

The company will build an efficient gypsum wallboard manufacturing plant in the Person County city, investing $160 million over three years.

"For a rural community with high unemployment, this is important - and reassuring - news," said Rep. Winkie Wilkins.
