ABC Home Medical Supply, Inc. relocated its national headquarters and customer service center to a 13,000 square foot office complex in Exton, Pennsylvania, creating 86 jobs in the Chester County region.

The firm needed to lease larger quarters in order to accommodate its anticipated growth and relocation efforts in the state. The company generated a capital investment of $1 million in renovations, new equipment and employee training, according to Gov. Tom Corbett’s Office.

“Supporting Pennsylvania businesses and getting Pennsylvanians back to work is one of my administration’s goals,” Corbett said. “As a result of the continued support we were able to attract the headquarters and customer service center of ABC Home Medical Supply, bringing 86 jobs to Chester County.”

“We are very grateful to Governor Corbett, the Governor’s Action Team and the Chester County Economic Development Corporation for their support in our move to Pennsylvania,” Keith W. Jones, Chairman and CEO of ABC Home Medical Supply said. “We would not have been able to relocate our operations to Pennsylvania while executing our growth plan without this funding.”

To assist with the company’s site selection efforts,ABC Home Medical received a funding offer including a $75,000 Pennsylvania First Program grant, $172,000 in Job Creation Tax Credits and a $38,700 Guaranteed Free Training grant to be used for training its new workforce at the project site. The project was coordinated by the Governor’s Action Team in collaboration with the Chester County Economic Development Corporation.

“We are thrilled that ABC Home Medical has committed to invest and grow in Chester County,” Michael Grigalonis of the Chester County Economic Development Council said. “ABC is the type of company that makes Chester County such a special place; they truly care about their community, employees and the disabled population they serve.”
