Beresford, Minnesota will soon be home to a Prinsco pipe manufacturing facility, the Argus Leader reports. The company will construct a new 24,000-square-foot building in the city's Beresford Industrial Park and employ up to 18 people.

"There's a good work force up here. It's a very receptive city staff, and it's centrally located," Prinsco Vice President of Operations Jeremy Duininck said.

Prinsco also considered sites in nearby Brandon, Vermillion, and Elk Point, but chose Beresford for its location and business climate.

The company will produce high-density polyethylene corrugated pipes for the agriculture and commercial water management industries at the site. It is scheduled to open by January 2011.
