A leading U.S. manufacturer of secondary containment systems, Bravo will locate its East Coast manufacturing operations in Lexington, Tennessee. Bravo will invest $2.8 million and create 83 new jobs in Henderson County.

The company manufactures secondary containment system for the petroleum equipment industry and produces products including fiberglass tanks, sumps and fittings. Bravo is known for developing the first-ever, under-dispenser containment sump and shutdown system for gasoline dispensers. This single invention, originally called the ‘Bravo Box’, launched what today has become a billion-dollar industry. Recently, Bravo pursued and passed rigorous testing requirements to achieve the distinctive UL2447 certification, the only company with a complete line of products.

Bravo purchased an existing building in Lexington. With this new location, the company will be better equipped to serve markets in the southeastern and eastern U.S.

“We are very excited to launch our facility in Lexington, and we appreciate the extraordinarily warm welcome we have received from the great state of Tennessee. It took ten years of searching for Bravo to find the ideal location for us to expand our production capabilities in the East. When we came to Lexington, we quickly saw that the city offers many advantages that make it the ideal location for our new plant. We were especially pleased to encounter a well-qualified workforce that will make it easy to hire skilled, local employees for Bravo’s operations. We are very grateful to the kind, knowledgeable, and enthusiastic people of Lexington, who have gone above and beyond to smooth our way to establish Bravo’s new Henderson County home,” said Paola Bravo, President & CEO, Bravo.

“We are so glad that Bravo has chosen Lexington as the location for its manufacturing facility. It is always a major win when a company chooses Tennessee to do business, and it is especially great when a company chooses a rural community like Lexington. I look forward to seeing Bravo create great jobs for the residents of Henderson County, and I look forward to seeing them succeed in Tennessee,” said Governor Bill Lee.

“One of Tennessee’s main goals is making sure rural communities thrive in our state. Since 2015, TNECD has supported more than 300 projects resulting in more than 35,000 jobs in rural counties, and I thank Bravo for its commitment to create 83 new jobs in Lexington and for investing in one of Tennessee’s rural communities,” said Bob Rolfe, Commissioner of TNECD.

“Lexington has long proven to be logistically located to get manufacturers’ products out to their distributors and consumers quickly and efficiently. Our business environment is competitive, friendly and offers access to a highly-trained workforce that helps keep us as a top-tier location for projects like this. We look forward to continuing to prove our value to Bravo as it prepares to develop their manufacturing facility,” noted Lexington Mayor Jeff Griggs.
