Dr. Pepper/Snapple Group has opened an 850,000-square-foot manufacturing and distribution center in Victorville, California. The project is the largest construction/manufacturing site completed in San Bernardino County. The project will create more than 200 jobs.

"The City of Victorville has created an environment in which we are well-positioned to thrive in the Western Region," said Larry Young, president and CEO of Dr. Pepper/Snapple. "The delivery of this state-of-the-art facility will allow us to offer a high level of customer service and grow our business."

The facility, located at the Southern California Logistics Airport, will serve California and the Southwest, and deliver up to 40 million cases of goods. Dr. Pepper/Snapple will seek LEED certification for the facility. The company manufactures beverage brands including Snapple, A&W Root Beer, Schweppes, Squirt, RC Cola, Mott's, 7UP, and Hawaiian Punch.
