SureCan Incorporated will establish a new manufacturing facility in Lebanon, Tennessee. The company, which manufacturers an innovative gas can, will invest $15.5 million to begin operations in Wilson County, creating 101 new jobs.

The firm plans to manufacture and assemble fuel cans at the Lebanon location, 800 Maddox Simpson Parkway, allowing them to better serve market demand for their product in the Southeast and Northeast. SureCan features patented spill-proof technology and a rotating nozzle and thumb-release trigger, allowing gravity to dispense fuel from the bottom of the can. It also self-ventilates and has a durable design.

“SureCan Incorporated is excited to have our facility in Tennessee, we look forward to being a part of the community,” SureCan President Brad Ouderkirk said.

“The majority of the U.S. population is easily accessible from Tennessee, making us a great choice for SureCan’s expansion,” Economic and Community Development Commissioner Randy Boyd said. “We’re also a state that values and nurtures our entrepreneurial ecosystem. I appreciate the new jobs SureCan is creating for our communities and look forward to their continued success in Tennessee.”

“Working with companies like SureCan provides one of the great benefits found in economic development,” G.C. We welcome them to both Lebanon and Wilson County, Tennessee where other companies have also taken their vision and made it a reality.”

“Congratulations to SureCan on its decision to locate in Lebanon, Tennessee,” John Bradley, TVA Senior Vice President of Economic Development, said. “TVA and Middle Tennessee Electric Membership Corporation are privileged to partner with the state of Tennessee, Joint Economic and Community Development Board of Wilson County, City of Lebanon and Wilson County to assist new job creation by innovative companies like SureCan.”
