Genesee A&B, a custom metal parts manufacturer, will invest $2.1 million to expand its Wilson County, Mount Juliet, Tennessee manufacturing plant, initially creating 34 jobs in the Nashville suburb.

Located at 8111 Eastgate Boulevard in Mount Juliet, Tenn., Genesee is a supplier to global OEMs in industries such as; office machine, telecommunications, electronics, computer, medical, security hardware, automotive and transportation, HVAC and aircraft.

"Due to increasing demand and steady growth, the investment in our Wilson County facility will allow us to better serve the needs of our customers," Jeff Wilson, general manager, Genesee A&B, said. "We appreciate the support from local and state officials to make this expansion a reality and look forward to continually being a part of the Wilson County community."

Information on whether the firm plans to take advantage of the state's hiring incentive program was not immediately available.
