Tulsa-based Lufthansa Technik Component Services, a firm that repairs hydraulic, pneumatic and avionic components along with emergency and galley equipment, plans to continue expansion of its regional operations center at Tulsa International Airport, the Tulsa Metro Chamber and state and local officials reported.

Recent expansion brought the firm's workforce to 80 employees, with plans to add as many as 90 more positions in the next few years. In order to expand its offerings, LTCS bundled its services for the repair and supply of aircraft components at its Tulsa International Airport facility, resulting in a significant increase of its workshops and warehouse space. In addition to component services, the company began to offer services for the disassembly of aircraft and the sale of their components and engines.

Dr. Thomas Stueger, Lufthansa Technik Chief Executive Product and Services, said "With our expanded service offer in the center of one of the world's most important aviation markets, we can meet the needs of our customers on site in the Americas even better.
