PartsSource, Inc., a multi-modality, multi-vendor supplier and online database of medical replacement parts, will expand its operations center in Aurora, Ohio. The project is expected to create 99 jobs.
As an incentive, Ohio Department of Development approved the project for tax credit assistance. In addition, the recently announced investment by Bain Capital will help PartsSource continue to accelerate its growth trajectory, broaden its solutions portfolio, and expand its marketplace platform to serve new areas of healthcare.
“The workforce we have today has been essential in successfully expanding our company into new product categories to meet evolving customer needs. The commitment and caliber of available talent in our area is critical to deliver the company’s next phase of innovation and growth,” said Robert Sanchez, chief human resources officer, PartsSource.
PartsSource is the leading healthcare services online marketplace and the world's largest provider of medical parts, products, and solutions.
“Ohio’s drive to develop medical innovation has given it a global reputation as a healthcare hotspot powered by exceptional talent. The state has a growing talent pool of about 80,000 bioscience employees, excluding healthcare providers. It attracts an increasing number of bioscience students from Ohio schools, with more than 10,000 graduates in 2017, a 30% increase from 2010 levels,” JobsOhio officials said.
State officials noted partsSource will expand in the Northeast Ohio region due to Ohio’s talented workforce and support of the local community.
“We are delighted to see PartsSource expand in the Northeast Ohio Region, helping us build our reputation as a robust health care innovation cluster. Along with JobsOhio and our local partners, all of us at Team NEO look forward to supporting PartsSource’ s ongoing success,” Team NEO CEO Bill Koehler added.
